From 1 April to 31 December 2024 we supported a number of employers and 101 individuals dealing with redundancy.
As of 27 September 2024 there were 810 Modern Apprentices in training.
From 1 April to 27 September 2024 we supported 257 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 61.5% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.
The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in East Lothian is 82.4%.
From 1 June to 31 December 2024 we delivered 5,106 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 3,990 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.
As of 31 December 2024, 61% of the 6,663 maintained school pupils in the local authority were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.
From 1 April to 31 December 2024 we delivered 830 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 355 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.
The December 2024 Interim Participation Snapshot showed that of the 4,780 16-19 year olds in East Lothian 93.3% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
We work with local partners to support Foundation Apprenticeships.
