Key data from North Lanarkshire

From 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 we supported 17 employers and 484 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of the 31 March 2024 there were 2,987 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 we supported 2,058 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 59.0% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in North Lanarkshire is 75.6%.

From 1 June 2023 to 31 March 2024 we delivered 28,808 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 15,915 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

As at the 31 March 2024 of the 20,725 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 71% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

From 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 we delivered 4,120 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,906 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The May 2024 Interim Participation Snapshot showed that of the 16,049 16-19 year olds in North Lanarkshire 91.4% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2021-22 there were 90 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 80 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2021-22, 308 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2021-22 we invested over £15.m in the local area.
