Employer event - Graduate Apprenticeships: Developing Scotland’s Future Workforce
A free webinar takes place on 27 January to discuss Scottish Graduate Apprenticeships, the benefits they can bring to any organisation and results from recent research by the Edge Foundation
As part of the launch of their report, Graduate Apprenticeships: Developing Scotland’s Future Workforce, commissioned by the Scottish Apprenticeship Advisory Board (SAAB), the Edge Foundation are hosting a free webinar for employers on Thursday, 27 January at 1pm.
During the one-hour online session, employers will hear first-hand from a current Graduate Apprentice and a Graduate Apprenticeship (GA) employer. Speakers will look at the features and benefits of degree-level work-based learning and discuss the key findings of the report.
The Edge Foundation is an independent, research organisation with expertise in learning, training and education. They interviewed a variety of employers and employer organisations from across Scotland to create the report which examined the current Graduate Apprenticeship system. The report was published in November 2021.
The session will also consider the implications for the future of GAs, employers, learners and learning providers. There will be a Q&A session to allow for questions and further discussion. Although aimed primarily at employers, other interested groups and stakeholders are also welcome to attend.
