Proposed reforms of the college sector

The Scottish Government is undertaking a review of the regional and strategic bodies within the Glasgow and Lanarkshire college regions.

Open to the public, responses can be made using the online platform, Citizen Space.

The government’s aim is to ensure that any future changes will strengthen oversight and accountability of the Glasgow and Lanarkshire colleges while continuing to support regional coordination of curriculum planning and provision of streamlined learner pathways.  

The consultation is open until 20 September 2024.
