The Data Lab is excited to host a webinar exploring data and AI skills across various career pathways. This event aligns perfectly with our upcoming initiative in early 2025, where we will be launching a new skills framework to identify and address skills gaps in Data, AI, and Machine Learning (ML), with contributions from learners, education providers, employers, and public/third sector organisations in Scotland.

This webinar will be hosted by Laura Zoch, Programme Manager for Professional Development at The Data Lab who has been leading the work on the new skills framework. Our speakers represent a range of career pathways including a data and AI skills trainer, a technology and innovation consultant and a data engineer at Blend360. They will share their career journeys so far covering how they got started and exploring what data and AI skills have been key to their success. There will be tips for making that first step and how to keep ahead of the data and AI skills curve!

The session will be 45 minutes including an opportunity to pick the panel’s brains at the Q&A.
