Event information
Join us for a webinar that brings together key partners and stakeholders delivering Careers Information, Advice, and Guidance (CIAG) services. We will share our research findings which draw on the voices of nearly 11,000 young people and 4,000 parents and carers in Scotland. The research puts the learner at the heart of the system, by capturing their voices and experiences to help shape how we collectively deliver the support they need.
The session will offer insights into customer’s experiences, needs, and expectations from career services as well as outlining how young people make decisions about their future and what influences them. It will also include:
- Results from our in-depth analysis of young people's perspectives on careers services, including awareness and value of careers advice.
- Feedback from young people about their aspirations, desired occupations, industries, and the skills they see as critical to their future career.
- Key insights from parents and carers, the most influential voices in young people's career choices. This will include their awareness, satisfaction, and perceptions of CIAG services as well as information sources used and how they feel about having career conversations.
