New location for the career service in Ayr
Residents in Ayr will soon see some changes to the career service in the area
Skills Development Scotland (SDS) is changing location as part of a drive to help more people through partnership working in community and partner venues.
SDS advisers offer free, impartial career information, advice and guidance for people of all ages in secondary schools, centres and community venues across Scotland.
SDS is moving to a new venue in the Ayr campus of Ayrshire College on Wednesday 7 May.
Customers will be able to make an appointment to meet an adviser there, Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm.

Customers will also be able to meet the team at community hubs throughout South Ayrshire.
As part of this change, the team will move out of the career centre on Carrick Street on Thursday 1 May.
Claire Tooze, SDS Area Manager explains: “Our advisers support people of any age looking to get into work, change career, upskill or reskill, or re-join the workforce after a career break.
“Our team in Ayr will continue to provide professionally qualified careers advice in our new home in the Ayr campus of Ayrshire College, which is modern and accessible with good public transport links."
We’re excited at the prospect of continuing to deliver exceptional levels of service to residents in Ayr and the surrounding area.
