Modern Apprenticeships
Modern Apprenticeships
The Modern Apprenticeship (MA) programme provides individuals with the opportunity to secure industry-recognised qualifications while earning a wage. It offers people aged 16 and over the opportunity of paid employment, combined with training at different levels. A Modern Apprentice could be a new team member or an existing employee seeking to increase their capability.
The Modern Apprenticeship Official Statistics include a main report as well as supplementary tables giving breakdowns by age, framework, local authority, redundancies and various combinations of these.
Current and same point last year information is available quarterly. For earlier years, annual information is available and can be accessed below.
Modern Apprenticeships provide a way for businesses to train employees to industry-recognised and agreed standards. Find out more about the Modern Apprenticeship programme here.
Modern Apprenticeship Frameworks are classified as belonging to an SDS assigned occupational grouping. Details here.
