Borders Council
Catherine is driving forward initiatives designed to encourage all nine secondary schools in the area to embrace information sharing.
On a recent in-service day, she delivered a presentation which outlined the benefits of the scheme.
She says: "Through increased communication and collaboration, we have managed to develop a robust 16+ Framework for all our schools and partners."
Not everyone leaving school has a university course, training position or job to go to. Through partnership working and information sharing, we can identify those young people and tailor local provision for them. That has fantastic benefits for the community as a whole.
